Our 2023 Prom Angel Awardee came from a low-income family and believed prom was out of reach. When we first met, she was shy, quiet, and unsure. Over three days of preparation, choosing a dress, styling her hair, and receiving genuine encouragement, I watched her transform. She went from looking down to standing tall, from barely smiling to radiating joy. By prom night, she felt beautiful, confident, and seen. Her story is a reminder that Prom Angel is about more than a dress; it’s about restoring dignity, building confidence, and making every girl feel like she truly matters.
